Media Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
The Media Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT Media Laboratory) engages in education and research in the digital technology used for expression and communication. It was founded in 1985 by MIT Professor Nicholas Negroponte and former MIT President Jerome Wiesner (now deceased).
