Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin is an aerospace manufacturer formed in 1996 by the merger of the Lockheed Corporation and the Martin Marietta Corporation. They are headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland. Lockheed Martin has managed Sandia National Laboratories for the United States Department of Energy since 1993. It employs 125.000 people worldwide.

It is a major defense contractor. Nearly 80% of Lockheed Martin's customer base is with the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. federal government agencies.
