Lake Balaton
Lake Balaton is Hungary's biggest lake, 104 m over the sea level, up to 11 m deep, 592 sq. km. High season is from June till the end of August. Tourist activities include swimming, sailing, surfing, fishing, boats, water-skiing, as well as visiting the countryside and hills, wine on the North coast and night life on the South. Chief resorts include Keszthely, Balatongyörök, Badacsony, Balatonrendes, Révfülöp, Balatonakali, Tihany, Balatonfüred, Balatonalmádi, Balatonkenese, Balatonvilágos, Siófok, Zamárdi, Balatonföldvár, Balatonlelle, Balatonboglár, Fonyód, Balatonmáriafürdő, Balatonberény.
