Labor Party of America
The Labor Party of America is a progressive political party advocating worker's interests. Membership is around 5000.Formed in 1995 by the United Mine Workers, the Longshoremen, American Federation of Government Employees, California Nurses Association and hundreds of other labor unions. This organization allied itself with the Green Party of Wyoming in 1998 to field its first candidates for local and federal offices.
