Kojiki

Kojiki (古事記) is the oldest historical book about ancient history of Japan.

The book was started by Oono Yasumaro was finished by Hiedano Are in 712 under the order of the Imperial Court. Nihonshoki followed the book.

In the Edo era, Motoori Norinaga studied Kojiki with publishing Kojiki-den.
