Julio-Claudian
Series of Roman Emperors who ruled from 27 B.C. to A.D. 68, when the last of their line, Nero, was assassinated. The Julio-Claudian dynasty is so named from the nomina or family names of its first two emperors: Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus and Tiberius Claudius Nero.members of the dynasty:

- Tiberius (14 - 37)
- Caligula (37 - 41)
- Claudius (41 - 54)
- Nero (54 - 68)
