John Thomas

John Thomas (1725-1776) was an American doctor and soldier from Massachusetts who became a Major General in the Continental Army.


John Thomas (March 1, 1826 - March 19, 1913) was a Welsh composer and harpist. He took the bardic name Pencerdd Gwalia.

He taught at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music, and was harpist to Queen Victoria.


In the UK, the term "John Thomas" is sometimes used as a euphemism for the penis.
