Jan de Weryha-Wysoczański - 1950 born in Gdańsk/Poland. 1971-76 Sculpture studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk/Poland with Professor A. Wisniewski and Professor A. Smolana. Since 1981 Living and working in Hamburg. 1998 1st prize, Prix du Jury, at the 'Salon de Printemps 98', Luxembourg. 1999, a monument in memory of the deportees of the Warsaw Rebellion in 1944 for the memorial for the victims of the Nazi concentration camp Neuengamme, Hamburg/Germany. Participation in many exhibitions in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium and the U.S.A.
