Ira Glass
Ira Glass was born March 3, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended Brown University, where he majored in semiotics.Glass has worked in public radio for over 20 years. He started out as an intern at National Public Radio (NPR). He was a reporter and host on several NPR programs, including Morning Edition and All Things Considered.
He now hosts a radio show, This American Life, which is produced by WBEZ, distributed by Public Radio International, and airs on many NPR stations. It reaches over 1.4 million listeners weekly.
