Indjija

Inđija (Инђија) is a city located in Serbia and Montenegro at 45.05° North, 20.09° East. In 2003 the city has total population of 26300 and is 38,432 hectares. It is located in Vojvodina, Srem.

The first verifiable evidence of Indjija's existence is in the Charter of Despot Jovan Brankovic from 1496, but it may have existed as early as 1455.
