Ibn Arabi

Muhammad Ibn 'Arabi commonly known only as Ibn Arabi (born 1165 in Andalusia, Spain - died 1240 in Damascus) was an Arabic philosopher commonly identified with the Sufist school.

He wrote over 350 books in Arabic.

He is mostly known for his idea that every living person must find his own way to Allah. This view is similar to that of the Gnostic Monoimus or the Christian Religious Society of Friends (the Quakers).
