Hergiswil

Hergiswil is a municipality in the canton of Nidwalden in Switzerland. It has a population of 5300 of which 12% is of foreign nationality (2002). The area of Hergiswil is 1700 hectares.

There are 460 local businesses which employ 2400 people. 4% of these are in the agricultural sector, 21% in trade and industry, 74% in services.
