Harry and Tonto

Harry and Tonto is a 1974 film which tells the story of an elderly man who goes out on the road with his pet cat. It stars Art Carney, René Enríquez, Herbert Berghof, Cliff De Young and Josh Mostel.

The movie was written by Josh Greenfeld and Paul Mazursky, and directed by Mazursky.

It won the Academy Award for Best Actor (Art Carney) and was nominated for Best Writing, Original Screenplay.
