Geomancy

Geomancy is any system of divination (an attempt to get in touch with the divine) related to manipulation of the earth

Also when the word is broken down into the component pieces it means "magic of the earth". Originally referring to geomancy's usage of dirt or sand in the process.

One such system that geomancy is used to generaly refer to is:

[divination] by means of lines and figures or by geographic features; a kind of divination by means of figures or lines, formed by little dots or points, originally on the earth, and latterly on paper.

Modern geomancers of this type, Only require a system that will generate 16 even and odd numbers, be that with marks on a paper with a pencil, flip a coin, cast a die or dice, or drawing cards from a deck See also:
