Gary Mounfield

Gary "Mani" Mounfield is a British rock musician, born in Manchester at November 16, 1962. He joined the "madchester" band The Stone Roses as a bass player in 1987. Playing on both of the band's albums, Mani was in The Roses until they disbanded in 1996. The same year, he joined Bobby Gillespie's Primal Scream. He is still in Primal Scream.

Mani has also played together with Dot Allison, Death In Vegas, Aziz Ibrahim, and John Squire. He has a guest role in the movie 24 Hour Party People (2002).
