Fusarium ear blight

Fusarium ear blight, also called FEB, is a fungal disease in plants. It is known for being responsible of the most common damaging disease of golf courses grass. From an economical point of view, it is one of the major cereal disease, being responsible for significant grain yield reduction in wheat and oat. It is also representing a serious threat to human health, as it is responsible for the production of dangerous mycotoxin-infected grain and food items.
