Far East Asia

Far East Asia is a subregion of Asia. It includes the following territories:

• Japan
• Korea
• People's Republic of China: Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau
• Republic of China: Taiwan, Quemoy, and Matsu

The Asian parts of Russia is sometimes included to the category, and in fact one region of Russia is known as the Russian Far East.
