Edward Scissorhands

Edward Scissorhands is a movie directed by Tim Burton released in 1990. The movie is a fable set in an exaggerated stereotype of the 1950s.

Synopsis

When a devoted American Avon lady decides to visit an old house out of town, she finds a beautiful garden full of amazing topiary, she is amazed by this until she finds out who lives in the house. She finds a shy, reclusive young man (Johnny Depp) hiding in an attic. The creation of a scientist, Edward has been unfortunately given scissors instead of hands.

The woman takes him back to her home, where he soon becomes part of her family. However, not everyone in the community appreciates Edward's presence.
