A Diamond Jubilee is a celebration held to mark a 60th anniversary.In the United Kingdom, a Diamond Jubilee is held in a monarch's 60th year. Queen Victoria celebrated the jubilee in 1897, and should she still be on the throne at the time, Queen Elizabeth II's diamond jubilee will be in 2012.
