Degenerative diseases

A Degenerative disease is a disease in which the function or structure of the affected tissues or organs will progressively deteriorate over a lifetime whether due to normal bodily wear or lifestyle choices such as exercise and eating habits.

Sample degenerative diseases would be:

• Heart disease
• Atherosclerosis
• Osteoarthritis
• Osteoporosis
• Alzheimer's disease
