Congo

The Congo River in central Africa, or the basin of that river. The Congo and its subsidiaries run through the second largest rain forest area in the world, only the Amazon Rainforest being (much) larger.
Name for two countries in Africa:
- Republic of the Congo - Congo/Brazzaville, the smaller one in the west.
- Democratic Republic of the Congo - formerly Zaire - Congo/Kinshasa, the large one in the east.
In Vodun, a rather dull and lazy spirit was named Congo.
