Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport

Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport (also transliterated as Chhatripati Shivaji International Airport), formerly Sahar International Airport, is an airport in Mumbai, India.

It is a hub of Air India, and has the IATA Airport Code BOM. The airport was named after Chatrapati Shivaji, a former king of Maharashtra. The airport was formerly named Sahar International Airport.

On 22 June, 1985, Air India Flight 182, which was flying on a Toronto-Montreal-London-Delhi-Mumbai route, exploded in midair, killing all of the passengers aboard.
