Calamine

Calamine is a zinc oxide mined as a zinc ore with the chemical formula (Zn O H)₂Si O₃. It is also used in calamine lotion, a pinkish-white solution used to soothe irritated skin such as in the case of sunburn, mosquito bites, and poison ivy.
