Achtkarspelen
Achtkarspelen (population: 28,044) is a municipality in the northern Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. The municipality covers an area of 103.98 km² (of which 1.20 km² water).The municipality of Achtkarspelen consists the following towns, villages and townships: Augustinusga, Boelenslaan, Buitenpost, Drogeham, Gerkesklooster-Stroobos, Harkema, Kootstertille, Surhuisterveen, Surhuizum, Twijzel, Twijzelerheide.
