A Certain Sacrifice is Madonna's first movie made in September 1979 written and directed by Stephen Jon Lewicki.

She stars with Jeremy Pattnosh and Charles Kurtz.

Madonna made it big 5 years after the making of this movie. Jon Lewicki invited her to view it. She watched the film with Lewicki, and last words to him were "fuck you". The next thing that happened is that a representative from Madonna offered to buy the rights for $5000. Lewicki refused.
