Die Islamische Republik der Komoren (Federal Islamic Republic of the Comoros) ist ein Inselstaat und besteht aus den drei Inseln Grande Comore (Njazidja), Anjouan (Nzwani) und Moheli (Mwali). Sie liegen im Kanal von Mosambik, nördlich von Madagaskar, und südlich von Mosambik.
