Jackson Pollock (* 28. Januar 1912 in Cody, Wyoming - † 11. August 1956 bei einem Autounfall.) war ein US-amerikanischer Maler. Seine Stilrichtung wurde von Kunstkritikern als Action Painting oder als Abstrakter Expressionismus bezeichnet.
