Jack Nicholson

Jack Nicholson, geboren als John Joseph Nicholson (* 22. April 1937) in Neptune, New Jersey, ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler.

Seine Biografie ist schon verfilmenswert

Seine "Schwester" war seine Mutter. Sie hat Jack sehr jung zur Welt gebracht, daher hat Jacks Oma ihn kurzerhand als ihren eigenen Sohn ausgegeben, um seiner wirklichen Mutter, die dann als seine Schwester ausgegeben wurde, die Schande zu ersparen.

Jack war schon in der Schule ein begeisterter Schauspieler, weshalb es ihn später, als seine "Schwester" (Mutter) bereits in Californien / Hollywood lebte, nach Californien zog, um dort sein Glück zu versuchen.

Seine Karriere in Hollywood begann er als Laufbursche für die Filmstudios, besonders für Hanna/Barbera. Er nahm Schauspielunterricht, spielte in vielen Low-Budget-Produktionen mit, schrieb Drehbücher und machte so seine ersten Erfahrungen. Seinen Durchbruch erzielte er dann mit Easy Rider.

Nicholson erhielt 1975 für Einer flog über das Kuckucksnest und 1995 für Besser gehts nicht den Oscar als bester Hauptdarsteller und 1983 für Zeit der Zärtlichkeit den Oscar als bester Nebendarsteller.
