August von Goethe

Julius August Walther von Goethe (* 1789, † Ende Oktober 1830 in Rom).

August von Goethe war das einzige der fünf Kinder, das aus der Verbindung von Johann Wolfgang von Goethe und Christiane von Goethe (geb. Vulpius) hervorging und das Erwachsenenalter erreichte. Mit 27 Jahren heiratete er Ottilie von Pogwisch.
